Tour Details

Our full-day Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco is a popular day trip, just as to Rainbow Mountain or Humantay Lake. This is the best tour to start with on your trip to Cusco before visiting Machu Picchu.

As the name suggests, the valley was sacred to the Incas. It was here that they carried out most of their farming work. Having mentioned that, Sacred Valley generated the prime income for the Incas, and some sites in the valley still continue to.

This full-day tour from the city of Cusco takes you to the prime sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accompanied by our local English-speaking professional guide, you will be visiting archaeological sites like Chinchero, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac.

The tour offers an insight into Inca history. You will be visiting some of the prominent Inca ruins and agricultural terraces.

To offer you the most, we will be serving a typical Peruvian buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba.

Sacred Valley Day Tour From Cusco

We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then in our private transport, we will be driving you for an hour to Pisac. This beautiful village is home to a traditional local market and Inca ruins. The archaeological site of Pisac is massive and is just second to Machu Picchu.

After getting an insight into the life and traditions of locals here, we will drive you to Ollantaytambo.

This beautiful village has been important since Incan civilization. This was once an administrative capital to them. The narrow cobblestone streets of Ollantaytambo is a testament to the advancement of Incas architecture and town planning.

Ollantaytambo is also home to two Inca ruins. After touring Ollantaytambo village and ruins, we will be driving to Urubamba for lunch.

After savoring some traditional Andean meal, we will drive you to Chinchero, the birthplace of the Rainbow.

It is a beautiful village where locals are known for handicrafts. Here our local expert will be giving you an insight to their life and culture.

Chinchero is also home to some Incan farm lands which have been built during the Inca era. It is also home to a beautiful colonial white washed church. It was built by Spanish conquistadors demolishing the Incan royal palace.

Once you had your fill of the history and traditions here, we will be returning to Cusco.

Couple Traveller

We went on the one day tour of sacred valley from our hotel in Cusco and had a great experience. Our guide was excellent and informative and this was the day we learned the most during our travels which is exactly what we hoped for. The tour gives you a combination of a fun experience while also providing great information about the history of the sacred valley. I would highly recommend this tour!
