I had been to Rainbow Mountain before, however in my previous trip I could barely see the colours as it was covered under dense cloud. I chose to travel again but this time with Erickson. The experience was amazing.
Luis Ttito was the organiser and did everything just above and beyond. It was a very small group which was ideal due to the ongoing global pandemic. They complied with all measures of COVID-19.
The “trek” was absolutely fantastic. Although a high altitude experience, I barely felt anything as I did my trek in Huaraz just days before.
Rainbow Mountain is quite a unique place to visit. The natural formations are spectacular. To ass it, the trip was more awesome with such a professional team of crew from Erickson.
Wanted to do the red valley too but could not hike as one day is not enough. Gives me a reason to visit Peru again and visit the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley with Erickson.
Highly recommend this. Gracias Luis!
The trip was fabulous. I enjoyed every moment of the trek with Luis. The booking process was smooth and easy.
On the day of the trek, they picked me up from the hotel on time. The crew took great care in complying with all protocols of COVID-19.
The drive from Cusco was a bit longer but had fun seeing the countryside of the Peruvian highland. We had a couple of stops along the way to use the restroom and for breakfast.
The trek is mind-blowing. I wasn’t expecting to see so many local farmers. The guide explained everything in detail.
The view from the summit is stunning. Got a very closer look at the mighty Ausangate peak.
The food they serve is delicious. Quite traditional meal and as a vegetarian, I had no problems.
All in all, I would give a 10/10 for this whole experience.
